Our Bonsai Trees are at least 6 to 13 years old and have been grown by our Bonsai Tree Masters. Your Bonsai Urn can be purchased with one of our Bonsai Trees or you can purchase a plant from your local nursery. The Bonsai Trees shown below are available for use with your Bonsai Urn. Each tree comes complete with special soil to be used with your Bonsai Tree, detailed planting instructions and mixing cup. After you receive your Bonsai Urn, and are ready to plant your Bonsai Tree, you will request the tree of your choice to ensure that your Bonsai Tree can be planted in your Bonsai Urn as soon as possible. Full instructions for ordering your Bonsai Tree are included with your Bonsai Urn.
Ficus Retusa Tree
Also known as Banyan Fig and Taiwan Ficus. The Retusa has small, dark green leaves which alternate up the stem and which are more oval than the Benjamina. Grey to reddish bark dotted with small, horizontal flecks, similar to tiger-like markings. All have heavy trunks and all are trained in the traditional curved shape. Among the most tolerant, versatile and trouble-free bonsai trees for indoor use. 6 years old, 8″ tall. Indoor or over 50F Outdoor.
Willow Leaf Ficus Tree
Also knows as Mexicana Ficus. Elongated, light green leaves have a striking resemblance to the popular weeping willow tree. This tree does particularly well indoors in low, moderate or high lighting conditions. 7 years old, 11″ tall.
Braided Money Tree
The Money Tree is an age-old token of good luck and an invitation to good fortune. Resilient and does not require much care. It is the most popular plant for “Feng Shui” because it creates positive energy (“Chi” or “Qi”).
